ONLINE DRUM LESSONS
Sometimes finding a drum tutor close to home can be tricky and can involve some travelling however, if you would prefer a lesson via the internet then this is possible via SKYPE.
Q. How do I book a lesson? A. You can book a lesson either by telephone or you can email me. Click here for contact details.
Q. Where are lessons taught? A. Lessons are taught at MIKE’s DRUMMING SCHOOL - Wakefield and Take 2 - Birdwell in Barnsley
Q. Do you deliver home lessons? A. Yes however please note home lessons will cost slightly more due to travel costs. Please contact me to discuss this further.
Q. Is there an age limit when learning the drum kit? A. There is no age limit when it comes to learning the drum kit. I have taught people ageing from 5 years old to 50 years old.
Q. I am left handed will this cause a problem? A. Not at all, I play the drum kit right handed however I am left handed. It’s what feels comfortable that matters.
Q. How much does it cost per lesson? A. 30 minutes will cost £15, 45 minutes will cost £20 and 1 hour will cost £25 at Mike’s Drumming School in Wakefield.
Q. How much practice should I do? A. That is completely up to you. I try to stick to the “practice makes perfect” moto. The less practice you do it will just take longer for you to achieve the outcome.
Q. Can I gain qualifications from learning the drum kit? A. Yes, there are two syllabus’ available for the drum kit. Rockschool Graded Course and Trinity Guildhall Graded Course.
Q. I have a disability, will this be a problem? A. This should not be a problem however please contact me to discuss this further.
